All The Pretty Horses

Still working my way through my backlog of posts...

Book #20 of my '08 reading list was All The Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy.

This was the second McCarthy book I've read with The Road being the first. I liked this one a lot more, though Entertainment Weekly now assures me that The Road is the best novel of the last 25 years...ah well. Anyhow, this is the McCarthy I'd been assured exists: raw, biting, gritty and all those other overly used adjectives.
