Gregoire v. Rossi - And The Beat Goes On...
It's 2005 and we still have no final word on who is going to be the next governor of Washington state. The big debate now is over the fact that the number of votes tallied in several counties exceeded the total number of votes on the preliminary voter registration lists. The Republicans seem to feel this is a clear indication of fraud:
"'People ask me what would fraud look like? It would look like this,' said state Republican Party Chairman Chris Vance."The county auditors and election officials seem less convinced that anything is amiss and expect that the problem will go away when the final registration lists are completed, but until then it looks like we're still going to have to sit tight.
Hey, at least we got the Presidential voting right (hack, hack, Ohio)!
