Demetri Martin @ The Paramount

Tonight we saw Demetri Martin play a special show at the Paramount. Dude is hilarious. I'd seen bits and pieces of his stuff before but never a full show. He seems to be hitting on all cylinders at the moment, probably in preparation for an upcoming taping of a one hour Comedy Central special. With the performance tonight I think he might have earned himself a spot at the top of my favorite comedians list (right next to Steven Wright).

Opening acts David O'Doherty and Leo Allen were also quite funny. Especially O'Doherty who performed an awesome tune called F.A.Q. of the D.O.D.

Given that he STOLE all his material from Steven Wright (and Mitch Hedberg), it makes sense that Demetri and Wright are up there for ya. I keed, Demetri... I love you too.
